Клод де Сейссель и представления о социуме Георгия Гемиста Плифона

В статье рассматриваются идеи Клода де Сейсселя (1450—1520). Уделяется внимание тому, что эти идеи были основаны на анализе на основе модели, предложенной еще Платоном, олигархической формы правления как реальной формы существования республики в современной ему Венеции и исследование применимости этой модели к Франции. Актуальность работы обусловлена появлением ряда работ, в которых можно увидеть, что воззрения Клода де Сейсселя были схожи не только с воззрениями итальянских гуманистов, но и с утопическими идеями переустройства Византии Георгия Гемиста Плифона (1355/1360—1452/1454). Авторы статьи утверждают, что идеи Клода де Сейсселя нужно рассматривать в более широком контексте, чем было принято ранее в исторической науке. В статье показано, что именно Клод де Сейссель обратил внимание на значимость военного сословия и на его права как важнейший принцип формирования европейских монархий в контексте общих для итальянских и византийских гуманистов проблем. Доказывается, что он стал своего рода передаточным звеном между итальянским и византийским гуманизмом, с одной стороны, и французским гуманизмом, с другой, и значительно повлиял на развитие социально-политических и исторических концепций французских мыслителей XVI—XVII веков.
